Biography

Erica Bouchér is a Registered Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Life Coach. She uses a unique combination of all of these tools to assist clients in removing the blocks to living successfully in today’s world. She formerly owned and directed Yoga for Transformation in Orlando, Florida where she offered yoga, massage and empowerment coaching to her clients. Now Erica works with private clients in her studio, or in their homes or offices.

Erica began her work as a life coach and counselor almost ten years ago, and found that in order to experience lasting change, many of her clients needed a physical and emotional release in addition to an intellectual understanding of where they were stuck in their lives. In her yoga sessions, she discovered that as clients opened up their bodies they started asking questions about the emotions that were being released. In all cases, her clients sought greater self awareness and peace of mind.

In a holistic approach to open the body, quiet the mind and soften the heart, Erica’s practice has evolved in response to the demands of her clients. Now, any effective lifestyle change that her clients seek is approached from all of these angles.

Erica has developed a 12-week yoga & personal empowerment program entitled The Search for the Authentic Self integrating private yoga therapy and life coaching focusing on Self Awareness, Emotional Empowerment and Communication Skills. She has taught workshops on behalf of Anthony House, Goodwill Industries, the Lisa Merlin House, the Salvation Army, the Downtown Orlando YMCA, TRANE Corporation, The Ya Ya Network Conference and Several other organizations throughout Central Florida.

Erica has written numerous articles on issues of personal empowerment and communication which have been published locally, and is currently working on her first book expected to be published later this year. Her book, The Search for the Authentic Self is scheduled for publication later this year.
